Life Members
EERA Life Membership
As a European-wide association, EERA has been working hard since the mid-1990s, and since that time it has grown and flourished.
EERA has always depended on the commitment and selflessness of its officers, particularly its Presidents.
The Council has decided in June 2008 to recognize this service to EERA by creating a new category of membership, the Life Member.
This is an Honorary position with no duties or rewards.
Ingrid Gogolin, EERA President 2004 - 2009

Ingrid Gogolin has acted as EERA President for 2004 - June 2009 and stepped back from EERA Presidency after being elected as President of the World Educational Research Association (WERA)
Michel Caillot, EERA President 2002 - 2004
Michel Caillot is Professor Emeritus of Université Paris Descartes, Paris, France. His interests are in science education.
Michelle Caillot served as EERA President from 2002 - 2004.
Sverker Lindblad, EERA President 1999 - 2001

Sverker Lindblad became Professor at the Department of Education, University of Gothenburg in 2004, previously he held the University of Uppsala Chair in Education. He is a member of the University Centre for Research on Europe and the Board of the University of Gothenburg Research Commission. He was one of the Founders of the Nordic Education Research Association and was President of the European Educational Research Association 1999 – 2001.
