Creating and Confirming your User Account

In order to make full use of the Personal Conference Planner, you first need to create an account at the EERA website.
As this system is independent from the conference submission system, you cannot use your Conftool account for the conference planner.

To create an account, simply click the button on the right hand side of the webpage (Not a user yet? Create an account)

As a second step you will receive a confirmation email containing a link. Please click on this to activate your account. 

Searching the programme

Before searching, make sure that you are logged in, as this will allow you to store your results.

You can search the programme using:

  • a free search (type in a keyword that is important to you),
  • author names or
  • paper numbers.

You can also browse through the full programme for each network.

In each network, session or paper you will find a button "Add to programme planner".
If a paper is interesting to you, add it to your programme by clicking on the button. It will then appear in the box "Programme Planner" on the right hand side.

 

Full View and Title View

There are two ways to display the results you have highlighted.

In the box "Programme Planner" on the right hand side you will find two links

  • Your programme (title view)
  • Your programme (full view)

Title view
The "Title View" will only disply titles and session-details of the papers you are interested in. If you print this out and take it to the conference it will make it easier for you to navigate the conference quickly and find the sessions you wish to follow.

Full View
The "Full View" will also display the abstracts of your chosen papers.              Printing this out may assist you in preparing for the conference and help you to select presentations during the conference. 

Print your Results

On the top of the page you find two icons - one for printing, one for creating a pdf.

Click them in order to download or print your results - either in "Title view" or in "Full view"

Download Results as "Ical"

Do you want to import the session/ papers you have selected into an electronic calendar? 

You can do so by clicking the "Ical download" button in the "Programme Planner" box on the right hand side. 

This creates an Ical-file, which you should save on you computer.
From there you can import it to any online calendar which is able to read ical-files.

Login

Enter your username and password in order to log in on the website. This system is independent from the conference registration / submission website. So you need to create an account before you first use the ECER programme planner.
