Network Activities
A group of Network members submitted an FP7 proposal on higher education promoting European lifelong learning in February 2011.
The Network edited a special issue of EERJ (vol. 9, number 1, 2010): THE BOLOGNA PROCESS: help or hindrance to the development of European higher education? (Guest Editors: Jani Ursin, Barbara Zamorski, Elinor Edvardsson Stiwne, Christine Teelken & Monne Wihlborg). The issue included seven articles and an introduction on the effects of Bologna process to European higher education.
Christine Teelken and Monne Wihlborg also got funding from EERA council to their research project on the outcomes of Bologna process.
NW 22 has its own webpages http://ktl.jyu.fi/ktl/eeranetwork22 and email list eeranetwork22@lists.jyu.fi, which currently has more than 250 subscribed members.
Future Developments
- The network will relocate its webpages under EERA’s webpages before ECER 2012.
- As EARLI has a higher education SIG the Link Convenor will explore possibilities for cooperation.
- The first Nordic Conference of Higher Education Research will take place on 9.-10.2.2012 in Espoo (Finland) Further information: blogs.helsinki.fi/hegompage/nordic-conference-9th-10th-feb-2012/
